my name is Oleg and I am a destination wedding photographer. I have a great privilege to do what I love the most – to photograph people in love. This is my “job” for more than 10 years of my life and I am very happy about it. At this workshop together with my friends Aida and Tim Glowik we want to share our experience and help you get to the next level of your photography career.

DO I REALLY NEED A WORKSHOP?
I believe there is nothing in wedding photography that you could not learn by yourself, however it might take a while to get where you want to be. Practical workshop is the best place to learn effectively and fast, as well as to build a beautiful portfolio as a destination wedding photographer. In addition, this is the place where creativity meets business and you get to know better “the money” part of this industry.

Who is this workshop for?
It is aimed at wedding photographers who want to grow their business and build their portfolio in order to market towards destination weddings. However, it will be also very helpful for all the “rising stars” and hobby photographers who want to start their own business and get a “blueprint” of how it is being done effectively. Nevertheless we want and will be able to take care of every single one and their special needs because there will be few participants.

When and where?
From the 1st till the 3rd of October 2018 (more details will be given in May 2018). We recommend arriving on the 30th of September and leaving on the 4th of October.
The airport in Calvi is the closest to where we will be staying (either in a small hotel or holiday home, depending on the number of attendees). Alternatively, you have the option of flying in to the airport in Bastia or Ajaccio (which are a bit further away).

Day 3:
- Breakfast
- Culling and editing pictures

- Presentation about branding/online marketing
- Participants get the opportunity to present their work and get feedback
- Coffee and cake (official end)
In addition:
- This workshop focuses on the concept “learning by doing”.
- You are free to approach any of us whenever you have questions, in either English or German.
- The number of participants is limited to 12 in order to keep it small.
- During the photo shoot sessions, we will divide the group into two: six people in each group.
- The photo sessions will take place regardless of the weather. Therefore, make sure that you bring the right attire (which includes rainproof and windproof jackets and proper shoes).
How much does it cost and what is included?
- It will cost 775€/person (300€ to be paid when you register and the rest to be paid after the workshop) plus 19% VAT.
- It includes your stay (2 nights) in a hotel, main meals and transport on the island. For those travelling as a couple, it is possible to get a slight discount (please contact us ahead of time). The flight is not included.
- A free photoalbum by “die Albenmanufaktur” (worth 150€) is included.
- A selection of our presets for Adobe Camera RAW and Lightroom.
- A duration of three days. We recommend arriving a day before the workshop starts and leaving a day after the workshop ends.
- You are able to use all the pictures – you will just need to name the workshop and the photographers involved. You will receive the exact details/hashtags during the workshop.
- For an extra price of 200€, you can waive needing to give credit.
